Chalaine, Inc. has In-House Digitizing Capabilities, with the customer providing the artwork. We must have clear, concise camera-ready artwork. If unsuitable art is provided (i.e. hand drawn) there will be a minimum $40.00 charge to create the art for digitizing.

Artwork can be emailed to us in the following formats: JPEG, EPS, BMP. A resolution of 600 dpi (or better) is required for digitizing embroidery files. A hard copy should also be mailed or brought in to maintain its clarity and colors. The better the art, the better the design!

Please keep in mind the future of the design. It is easier and less expensive to make the design a multi color and use it as a 1-color design, than to digitize as a 1 color and later change to multiple colors. Please allow 10-14 days for the digitizing process. Our minimum Digitizing Fee is $35.00 and our rates are as follows:

• 2,100 - 4,999 stitches: $ 17.00 / 1,000 stitches
• 5,000 - 9,999 stitches: $15.00 / 1,000 stitches
• 10,000 or more stitches: $10.00 / 1,000 stitches

We require at least $35.00 deposit before setting up designs.
